How was the certification ISO 9000 born?
In 1987 the International Standard Organization issued a set of standards – called ISO 9000 – to standardize the exchange of goods and services throughout the world.
ISO 9000 standards mainly outline the qualitative aspects of such exchange and indicate a company how it has to work in order to guarantee a constant level of quality and satisfy the needs of its own customers.
Also Italy, together with the E.C. is a ISO member and takes care about translating the ISO 9000 standard.
